Superstar comes to Western

"Jesus Christ Superstar," a musical depicting the last week of Jesus of Nazareth's life, arrives in Macomb tomorrow night, according to a press release from University Relations.
Written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, the Broadway musical premiered on Oct. 12, 1971, and was revived in 2000. The musical received six Tony Award Nominations over the course of three decades.
To purchase tickets for this event, contact the Hainline box office between the hours of noon and 5 p.m. or visit wiu.edu/bca. For students and senior citizens, tickets are $30, $25 and $10 depending on quality of seats; for all other viewers, tickets are $35, $30 and $10.
