Trey Songz to perform at BSA Homecoming

Western Illinois University's Black Student Association (BSA) will host a concert series featuring various performers as part of its Homecoming events. The group has teamed up with Collegiate World Entertainment, Inc. (CWE) to offer the GROOVEJAM Homecoming Kick-Off Party.

The events get under way with a dance party featuring DJ Ransom at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 in the University Union Heritage Rooms. Cost is $11 for Western

students, $16 to the general public in advance and $13 for students and $19 to the general public at the door.

Saturday's event features Grammy-nominated performer Trey Songz at 7 p.m. in Western Hall. The event is hosted by the Hot Boyz of Power 92

Radio-Chicago and will feature DJ V-Dub of Chicago's WGCI radio. Western's Gwendolyn Brooks Cultural Center's Dance Troupe will also perform. Cost is $21 for Western students, $26 to the general public in advance and $25 for students and $30 to the general public at the door.

Kwiet Storm, Hot 2 Def and Ralphy will also join Songz. The hosts, Hot Boyz, also have hosted the Players Ball at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and have appeared on the UPN sitcom "The Parkers."
