Should Lady Gaga just dance away?
She should fold

I'm usually not one to make more than a passing comment about any given celebrity's actions unless it's Chuck Norris. However, there are quite a few reasons why Lady Gaga annoys the hell out of me.
I am very passionate about personal expression, and shattering any boundaries was the first thing she did. Then she just started embarrassing herself.
Before I completely bash her, I have to say that I appreciate Lady Gaga's support of the gay community, and her dedication to the values she stands for as a person, despite harsh criticism. On the other hand, who decided that she gets to singlehandedly represent an entire community of people? She just seems like a misrepresentation.
Now with that out of the way, the wardrobe this woman chooses is absolutely ridiculous. I could not say enough about the things she calls clothing. A zipper glued to one's eye hardly seems safe. Bubbles are not meant to be worn. The pope hat at the VMAs that completely covered her face in lace just confuses me.
Worst of all, she claims her music is inspired by her fashion and glam bands. Even that gives David Bowie a bad name. Speaking of names, Miss Gaga's real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. I'd get a stage name too. The question is whether or not she warrants the use of a nickname that was inspired by a Queen song.
In regard to her bizarre fashion sense, when she had to dye her hair because she was mistaken for Christina Aguilera, I think it prompted her to escalate her fashion to an even more extreme level of absurdity until she starting getting mistaken for Amy Winehouse.
L.A. Reid, CEO of Def Jam, heard her and liked her sound. However, Def Jam gave up on her three months later when they realized that she wasn't P!nk. They just decided it wasn't worth it.
Another of Lady Gaga's ventures in the music business is that she not only sang on the New Kids on the Block album but also opened for their reunion tour. That says enough.
As far as her lyrics are concerned, they are almost as confusing as her fashions. I actually would like to see "I want to take a ride on your disco stick" as the next pick up line craze. If there ever really is or could be a pick up line craze.
Another thing that bothers me is that her music is completely electronically engineered. Who does she think she is, T-Pain? Does anyone wonder what her voice actually sounds like?
It comes to a point when she tries so hard to be controversial that everyone in the media is just scrambling around trying to think of new ways to make fun of her.
I'm also pretty sure that she does more drugs than Michael Jackson. That seems like a more plausible inspiration for her fashion other than glam bands.
Lastly, when my 60-year-old musically illiterate father starts jamming to "Poker Face" after a four-hour ride home, I sincerely start to worry about the direction popular music is taking today.

First off, lady gaga CAN'T sing. If you have ever heard anyone GOOD sing, you would have different opinions. There is a difference between using electronic manipulation artistically and covering up the fact that you can't hold a note long enough without fluctuating up or down in pitch. (Continued…)
