According to an article by Al Tompkins, new beverages have found their way into grocery stores. None of that energy stuff, in fact quite the opposite: relaxation drinks.

Peter Bianchi invented the calming drink called "Drank" and claimed it as his "personal quest to relax the world." Other new drinks under the names "iChill," "Vacation in a Bottle" and "Blue Cow" promise equally relaxing concepts.

I could give you more information, but the whole thing blows my mind. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we already have relaxation drinks. We just call it alcohol. With a wide array of flavors and types of liquor, we may drink away our worries to whatever extent we choose.

I can almost understand the invention of "Drank"if it served as a calming agent to those unable to drink alcohol, such as people with HOPS or people whose religion prevents them from drinking, but this is a drink being marketed to stressed people across America.

Most people are stressed because of money, and this guy just came up with another pricy drink that promises to calm my complex life? I'm callin' BS. It better have liquor in it if I'm spending my few dollars on it.

I say do what everyone else does. Have a stiff drink for less than this relaxing Drank crap. And if you're underage, well you're too young to be stressed anyway. Grow up, get a job and some bills. Then you can be stressed and have a big kid drink.

Have you not heard of an alcohol problem? Have you not heard of people who don't drink alcohol? Have you not heard of people who are medically unable to drink alcohol?

I don't know much about these "drank" drinks, how effective they are, etc., but there are better ways to relax and relieve stress than either these OR alcohol. (Continued…)

Would you write a negative review for a restaurant without eating there?

Seems irresponsible to write off the category without trying any of the drinks. (Continued…)

Just something to keep in mind...I don't know exactly what is in these drinks, but make sure you read the ingredients, especially if you are on any medication. (Continued…)
