Water Line Break Closes Malpass Library

Western Illinois University officials are reporting that a water line on the fourth floor of the Western Illinois University Leslie F. Malpass Library broke at approximately 9:45 a.m. today (Aug. 5).
The west portion of the building, from the fourth floor to the basement level, is affected. The library is closed until further notice. Malpass Library employees should report to work Thursday, Aug. 6, unless otherwise notified.
Physical Plant personnel are in building conducting repairs and clean-up. A damage estimate is unknown at this time.
