In an article called "Goldfarb's Vision for 2009-10 School Year." This headline was false. The article was outlining the theme for the 2009-10 school year, not President Al Goldfarb's personal vision for the upcoming year.
In the July 1 issue of the WC there was an error in the headline of a story entitled "Anderson named interim dean." This was inaccurate as Anderson was named interim associate CAS dean.
Lastly, in the June 24 edition, in an article entitled "All they are is dust in the 'Wind," the term Lady Leatherneck was used in accordance with the name change for the Westerwinds. This was inaccurate as well. The female sports teams will not be referred to as Lady Leathernecks. Women's sports teams will carry the Leathernecks name as well.
The WC apologizes for all inaccuracies in previous issues.
