Rory: That was a once in a lifetime experience.

Logan: Only if you want it to be.

Rory Gilmore had the greatest life. Loved by all in her small town of Stars Hollow, a best friend for a mother, an Ivy League education and relationships with three of the best looking guys the WB could afford to cast.

But the question at the end of seven seasons is who was the better boyfriend?

What makes a better relationship? A boyfriend who calls constantly and hangs out at your house all day, even when you're not home, just waiting for you? Or one who never wants to hang out with any of your friends? What about the guy who makes light of a bad situation by throwing you a surprise party after committing your first felony?

Logan Huntzberger was the whole package. He was sweet (the only one of Rory's boyfriends to have a pet name for her), gorgeous, rich, considerate and rich. But money isn't everything, of course; just an added bonus.

Their relationship didn't exactly start out on the best foot but that's what made it a real relationship, not picturesque like it was with Dean. Rory hated Logan at first, but with Dean she was instantly smitten and she kind of just took pity on Jess because he was Luke's nephew and an overall nice person. By her initially hating Logan, it allowed him to go above and beyond to gain her attention, such as the skit he and his friends performed that interrupted Rory's lecture class.

Speaking of friends, Logan had them. An important element in every relationship is having separate lives away from each other. Logan had Colin, Finn and Robert, with whom he was constantly traveling, causing trouble, or just hanging out. Who did Jess have? Rory was the only person in SH who got along with him. Dean just spent his free time away from Rory at her house waiting for her to get home.

Change is a big part of relationships. Some change for the better, most change for the worst. Dean became more needy and jealous, and Jess became more distant and sketchy, but Logan changed for Rory because he didn't want to lose her.
