To me, sex is like shopping. Or tennis. Or watching baseball.

It's a past time, not so unusual, but not necessarily something done every day, either. Some days you're into it, some days you just do it because you're bored. A lot of times you go in to it with high expectations and leave on a "meh" note - content but not necessarily satisfied.

Sometimes, though… Sometimes the walls shake, the heavens part and, if we're going with shopping, you find that amazing pair of shoes in your size, on the sale rack with an incredible bargain tag attached.

It's just like sex.

We all know that I love sex, but let's face it: it's not going to be great all the time. But when it's good, though, you know it's good.

With that in mind, I present a list of six great types of sex everyone should try out at least once in their lifetime. Trust me, they're enjoyable by anyone from passion-seeking Western Illinois University students to conservative couples married with children (because I know how much you all love to read my column!).

1. Break-Up Sex. It seems like a fitting place to start. Putting aside the possible emotional distress involved in getting it on with someone you just broke up with, post-relationship sex is the perfect opportunity to let all your pent up rage and sexual frustration loose in one final act of coital bliss. Beware: the one that initiates the break-up is usually the one making the moves. Compare to the related make-up sex, where there is an underlying current of passion. There is no better way to say sorry than a make-up sex session making sure your significant other knows how much you care.

2. Angry Sex. Life is stressful. College life is even worse. After a hard day at work, dealing with endless assignments and the every day toils of life, it's hard not to get a little tense. Unless you fly off the handle often, a lot of that tension is bottled up. Let it go. Claw, scream, bite - let all of your fury go between the sheets. Just make sure your partner knows what's coming.
