Economic summit fixes nothing

President Barack Obama recently finished touring Europe at the G-20 Summit to come up with a plan to fix the global economic crisis.

I don't know how much talking about fixing went on at the meeting. The world leaders he met with comprise 85 percent of the global economy. This sounds worrisome. World leaders meeting to discuss the future of the economy sounds like a trick.

I am a bit of a conspiracy theorist, and this economic crisis is very well thought out. The powers that be have met to come up with a way to seize all power by placing the world under one world economy. They have worked to increase regulation (control) over financial institutions and allow the International Monetary Fund to become the source of economic distribution.

Many Americans will be duped into believing that this will fix the problem, but instead it will only increase power and control for big government. If you thought the regime was expanding in the United States, just wait until these leaders pull their next trick.

It may seem necessary to some. One might say, "Hey, we need to do something and one world economy sounds like a good idea." Tell that to the people in London that were protesting the summit because they are aware of their shady government actions.

One has to question these recent actions. I challenge Americans not to accept with blind faith the proceedings of the government, but rather critically dive into what is really happening around us.

Can you create order from chaos? This seems like the philosophy of these world powers. Cause chaos with the economic downfall and have the people beg for government to take control, which is exactly what citizens are doing.

In the current state the country is in, we are at the mercy of government. As U.S. citizens, we must realize that the government works for us. They are here to govern the people and not control them.

With all the collusion of multiple governments, one has to worry. Obama called the meeting historic. What will come of this historic meeting is yet to be determined, but don't let yourself get fooled into thinking this is the best possible outcome.

Is this all a well-orchestrated plan to create control? Does the government have too much power? Are we letting them gain control through methods we can't readily identify?

Don't just watch the news and accept what the administration is doing. We are becoming sheep to their scheme and we have become less politically active.

During the late 1960s and 70s there were protests to the Vietnam War, there were demonstrations and the culture was more involved and active in political issues. It seems now that we have become ignorant to their actions. Is this unawareness by design?

This is just a conspiracy theory, but just think about the series of events that is occurring. Do these men with so much power really have our best interests in heart?

Maybe we should act more like London and start to get involved in governmental affairs. We as citizens far outweigh the numbers in government and maybe it is time to show them the disparity.
