'Winds head to Sioux Falls

The Western Illinois women's basketball team will enter The Summit League tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face the No. 3 seeded North Dakota State Sunday, March 8, at 2:30 p.m. at the Sioux Falls Arena in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The nationally ranked Jackrabbits (28-2, 17-1 Summit) claimed the outright title Monday night and will meet eighth-seeded Oral Roberts (13-16, 6-12) in the first quarterfinal game at noon, on March 7. Following that game will be No. 2 seed Oakland (24-5, 16-2) vs. No. 7 UMKC (12-17, 7-11) at 2:30 p.m. The first Sunday quarterfinal game to be played prior the Western's game will feature No. 4 seed IUPUI against. No. 5 seed IPFW at noon.
Tickets for the 2009 Summit League Basketball Championship can be purchased at all Ticketmaster locations, online at www.ticketmaster.com, or in person at the Sioux Falls Arena Box Office.
Tickets can also be purchased through the Western Illinois ticket office. Lower level tickets for the entire tournament are $90, while general admission tickets for the entire tournament are $70. Individual tickets for quarterfinal and semifinal games are $15 reserved and $12 general admission. Student tickets are $10 with proof of a student ID.
All women's quarterfinal and semifinal games can be seen online through SummitTV live streaming.
For $4.95, fans can purchase individual games, or for $19.95, view both the men's and women's tournament quarterfinal and semifinal action.
