Issue date: 2/6/09 Section: News
Show your school pride with a Rocky wall cling-and by cheering the Western Illinois University Westerwinds and Leathernecks to victory in Western Hall Saturday, Feb. 7.
Western Illinois University's Visual Production Center (VPC) will give away 300 Rocky wall clings Feb. 7 in Western Hall. The Westerwinds and Leathernecks will take on South Dakota State at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively.
Any Western image -- which can be viewed at http://photos.wiu.edu/lightbox -- taken by VPC photographers can be made into WIU Wall Clings. The clings, constructed of a durable adhesive fabric, range in size from five inches to more than six feet tall. They can be mounted to any surface and can be re-positioned countless times while retaining adhesion without leaving a residue. The special fabric can be used both indoors and out; is water resistant; and won't tear or wrinkle. Application instructions can be found on the VPC website at wiu.edu/vpc.
Wall clings may be ordered by visiting the Lightbox site, which is also accessible from wiu.edu/vpc, or by contacting Brian Kreps or Neil Wiarda at (309) 298-1358 or VPC@wiu.edu.-University Relations
