Pornography award show is ridiculous

Special attention was given to some of the girls, who were given a segment to talk about their lives and how they got into the business. They all had their own spin on it, but in hindsight they could have just flashed the words "broken home" onto the screen and some precious time would have been saved.
Frankly, the whole affair was rather childish. The "adult" actresses resembled the acting of the presenters was, well, suitable for porn. I know even Hollywood actors bumble over the teleprompter lines, but give those same lines to porn stars and it resembles something closer to mimes learning how to talk.
As a whole, it was not that bad. It was a typical awards show where the hard-working individuals get some recognition for doing work that entertains their fans. But that is the whole problem - it just did not suit its material.
Frankly, it was not campy enough, nor sultry enough. It was a humdrum affair that was simply too boring. But hey, not everything was bad. It was Showtime, so at least there was a little nudity.

The term "broken home" still exists in 2008? I'm thinking Igolima Amachree would sh!t in your hat if he heard you say that. Same goes for "out of wedlock". (Continued…)

I suppose porn has its place, I just don't have a place for it in my life...never found it interesting in the slightest and though I can deal with a sex scene in a GOOD movie with a GOOD storying and GOOD acting, that's pretty much lacking in porn. (Continued…)
