We're 'gonna make it after all'

But still we are underestimated, even though our problems are fundamentally the same as someone with a career. We all have a boss to answer to and we all have bills to pay. Bills in "the real world" may be bigger, but so is the paycheck. Students even have problems that the 9-to-5ers do not. When they wake up and go to work, they earn money. When we wake up and go to class, we earn debt because we have to pay for it. How many career men and women have to pay their company so they can go to work?
As people, we choose to believe we have it harder than others. This is easy when we get older because we forget how difficult life can be at any one point. I'm guilty of it as well. But when it happens, I try to get over myself and remember that everyone is fighting his or her own war.
If you are reading this and have a career, try and remember when you were in our shoes and cut us some slack. If you are reading this and you're a student, I applaud you for making it work - you deserve more credit than you're given.
So here's to you, the strong college student - cheers.
