•March 16, at 12:26 p.m., a student reported he had left his laptop, a computer bag and sunglasses, valued at $750, in the University Union; when he returned to retrieve the items, they were gone. The theft is under investigation.

•March 17, at 10:28 p.m., Gerald A. Baumgartner, 19, 409 N. MacArthur St., Macomb, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in a Thomson Hall room. He was assigned an April 29 court date. Two other students were issued judicial referrals for consumption of alcohol by a minor.

•March 19, at 3:22 p.m., a student in Lincoln Hall reported receiving harassing messages on Facebook and AOL Messenger from a person known to her.

•March 20, at 1:17 a.m., Melissa A. Belano, 19, of 511 Bayliss Hall, and Jessica Fabiano, 18, of 827 Thompson Hall, were arrested in Higgins Hall for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. Each was assigned an April 22 court date. Another student was judicially referred for possession of drug paraphernalia.

•March 20, at 7:41 a.m., an employee in Morgan Hall reported that a poster containing hate-crime symbols had been found in the southeast stairwell of the building.

•March 20, at 11:29 a.m., a faculty member reported that his credit card had been stolen and that more than $800 in purchases at Wal-Mart in Peoria, as well as several gasoline purchases in Macomb, had been made on the account.

•March 20, at 1:15 p.m., a student in Sallee Hall reported being harassed by a person known to him.

•March 20, at 1:36 p.m., a staff member in Morgan Hall reported that a Dell computer monitor valued at $200 had been stolen sometime between Friday, March 14 and the time of the report.

•March 21, at 1:19 a.m., Michael B. Adler, 18, of 1017 Thompson Hall, was arrested at Thompson Hall for domestic battery and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.

•March 21, at 3:33 a.m., Joel W. Hill, 19, of Quincy (non-student), was arrested in the North Quad outside Bayliss Hall for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned an April 29 court date.
