• Feb. 12, at 12:47 a.m., Daniel Champion, 19, of 214 Henninger Hall, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned a March 25 court date.
• Feb. 12, at 4:46 p.m., a student reported that he had been receiving threatening messages from a person known to him on his social network Web site.
• Feb. 13, at 12:25 a.m., James Humphries, 18, of 1138 Wetzel Hall, was arrested in his residence hall room for possession of cannabis (under 10 grams). He was assigned a March 18 court date.
• Feb. 13, at 12:44 a.m., Robert Bolen, 20, of 330 Corbin Hall, was arrested outside of Corbin for possession of cannabis (under 10 grams). He was assigned a March 18 court date.
• Feb. 13, at 11:04 p.m., a student in the Leslie F. Malpass Library reported that while using a computer in the library, a person known to him sent him a threatening (hate-related) message. The incident is under investigation.
• Feb. 14, at 2:45 a.m., Office of Public Safety officers were called to Corbin Hall for a report of a fight in progress. Ryan Barrera, 21, of 516-B Pierce St., and Zachary O'Hara, 19, of 307 Corbin Hall, were arrested for fighting. They were each assigned a March 25 court date. Jamal Degeratto, 19, of 307 Corbin Hall, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and assigned a March 25 court date. Jamal Thomas, 20, of Calumet City (non-student), was arrested on a McDonough County warrant for contempt of court charges. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.
• Feb. 14, at 2:48 a.m., Joshua Witt, 22, of 1231 Wetzel Hall, was arrested in Wetzel for disorderly conduct and attempted criminal damage to government-supported property after he allegedly punched walls in the residence hall. Witt was also arrested on a Tazewell County warrant. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.
• Feb. 14, at 2:13 p.m., a student in Olson Hall reported he is being repeatedly harassed by persons known by him.
• Feb. 15, at 12:17 a.m., Marshall Marovich, 19, of 1017 Thompson Hall, was arrested in Thompson for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was assigned a March 25 court date.
