Battle of reality TV divas: New York vs. Tila Tequila

Reality TV remains America's guilty pleasure. A guilty pleasure is something in which we should indulge in moderation. However, there is one reality TV show character that America cannot get enough of.

I am referring to Tiffany Pollard, better known as New York. As much as I hate the truth about how reality TV reflects our society, I can honestly say, I love New York (no pun intended).

"I Love New York II" is one of the most entertaining shows on television today. Obviously many share the same opinion, considering VH1 decided to air a second season, along with giving New York her own show.

As for Tila Tequila (previously notorious for being the most popular nearly naked, over- sexed MySpace member), she got her show for simply being bisexual. Although it's a great concept to attract the dating show fanatics, the show entirely relies on her bisexuality to engage audiences.

Unfortunately, Tila had to be entertaining as well as bisexual. Of course, she is cute (for a 12-year-old), but the only other thing she has to offer is an innocent giggle and a lap dance for a senior citizen.

New York is loud, pompous, gaudy and people can't take their eyes off of her enormous … personality. Basically, the person who inspires the name of a show should be the one who steals it.

Tila, on the other hand, has to rely on her cast members to keep the audience from changing the channel.

New York has the ability to attract people who love her and hate her, but the point is, everyone is watching.

According to BuddyTV.com, "Pollard … tries to be as genuine and sincere as possible on 'I Love New York. '" Pollard also tries to explain her outrageousness by stating, "You're basically stuck and you're cut off from any type of current events, that is enough to frustrate you and bring you to a boiling point pretty quickly … But for myself, I've always been a little too dramatic. This is how I was born."

This brings me to another great aspect of the show: New York's mother. Sister Patterson is definitely the most ridiculous, nauseating creature on TV, and she makes me grateful to have my own mother.

I disagree with you 100%.

"A Shot at Love" with Tila is much more entertaining than "New York."

Tila is a nasty-looking hoe, and every time she smiles, she looks like a female HARRY POTTER, with her horrible underbite. I don't see why ANY men OR women would want her for anything other than to wash their clothes, and cook their pets. (Continued…)

I Love New York is definetly better than A Shot At Love. Tiffany is great, she is real with it, unlike Tila who has no personality.

I prefer New York. She has more spunk, better looks, and drama. Tila is pushover. She dosen't speak of what she really thinks about people. She's a fake bitch. (Continued…)

tila is just a boring low budget porn star looking alien whore. lol New york may be a bit crazy and well scary but she is obviously more entertaining with a love hate persona I guess. (Continued…)

Can you imagine Tila getting into a fight with New York or Sister Patterson?
