•Oct. 5, at 1:05 a.m., James S. Warner, 20, of 610 Higgins Hall, was issued two notices to appear after the car he was riding in was stopped for squealing tires at a stop sign on University Drive. Warner was issued an NTA for consumption of alcohol by a minor and an NTA for obstructing/resisting/interfering with an arrest. He was assigned to appear in court Nov. 13.

•Oct. 5, at 6:38 p.m., a student reported that his bicycle, valued at $60, was stolen from outside of Western Hall.

•Oct. 5, at 6:55 p.m., the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Thompson Hall. It was determined that the smoke on the 12th floor men's side had been caused by burnt food in a microwave.

•Oct. 6, at 2:19 a.m., the Macomb Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Tanner Hall. It was determined that the smoke had been caused by burnt food in a microwave. A student in the room affected was found asleep in his room and was issued a judicial referral for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and failure to evacuate.

•Oct. 6, at 2:05 p.m., a student reported that his car had been scratched, causing $250 in damages, while parked in the Higgins Hall parking lot.

•Oct. 6, at 4:10 p.m., an Office of Public Safety officer reported that a window near the west center doors of Morgan Hall had been damaged by a BB or similar object.

•Oct. 6, at 9:26 p.m., a faculty member reported that someone entered her Simpkins Hall office and tampered with her computer.

•Oct. 7, at 2:24 a.m., Bradley Weaver, 17, of 1006 Thompson Hall; Nasir Bahaeddin, 18, of Arlington Heights (non-student); Daniel Goldsmith, 19, of Buffalo Grove (non-student); and Christopher Ryerson, 19, of Arlington Heights (non-student), were all arrested in Weaver's room for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. They were each assigned a Nov. 6 court date.

•Oct. 7, at 3:11 a.m., one student at Pierce and Charles streets was judicially referred for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

•Oct. 7, at 7:35 p.m., David George, 26, of 714 Washington Hall, was arrested in his residence hall room for possession of cannabis (less than 3 grams). He was assigned a Nov. 13 court date.

•Oct. 7, at 8:09 p.m., an unknown male entered the 11th floor women's side of Higgins Hall and when he was asked to leave by residents, he became argumentative and struck a female student. The resident assistant escorted the individual off the floor. The incident is under investigation.

•Oct. 7, at 8:50 p.m., a female student in Higgins Hall reported that she woke up and realized an unknown male was in bed with her. She told him to leave and he complied. The incident is under investigation.
