The Career Services Office offers several resources to aid students, including help with internships and full-time employment.
Primary services students should be aware of include:
Resumé Services: Develop an individualized resumé and have it professionally critiqued and reconstructed.
Career Fairs: Two on-campus fairs and one online virtual career fair are scheduled for October and November. They will attract a diverse assortment of businesses, agencies and organizations for students to personally speak with regarding employment interests.
Career Courses: University Course 390 is an eight-week, one credit class offered to assist students in understanding the importance of marketing themselves. Course content includes resumés, cover letters, the interview process, job searching and surviving the first year of work.
Workshops: Members of the Career Services Office are available upon request to speak in resident halls, classrooms, student organizational meetings, fraternity and sorority houses and other meeting places.
Online E-recruiting registration: Students can make their employment interests and credentials available to over 200,000 prospective employers across the nation.
