John Walcher, Rob Nowak, Jen Madgiak, Kristen Simpkins, Mickey Boyle and Venson Currington also were appointed to serve on the Council of Student Activity Funds. Many of the applicants were highly recommended by members of the SGA and Early said she was enthused about having more women on the council.

SGA approved $200 for a full page ad in the student planner for the 2006-2007 school year.

"Lots of students buy the planner … it's a great way to inform the students of what we are," Early said.

Throughout the meeting, members were encouraged to focus on starting the next semester "off on the right foot." By getting SGA's name out on campus in a positive way, members feel that will happen.

The end of the semester also brought many thanks to advisers Dan Maxwell and Earl Bracey. Members were extremely thankful and positive about all the work and effort Maxwell and Bracey put into being their advisers.

Walcher reaffirmed this with his testament to spending hours in their offices being mentored and counting on their advice.

The acknowledgment of the SGA members Amber Johnson, John Walcher and Chris Thomas also was extended for their time and commitment to SGA.
