First Dad's Weekend April 8 to 10

Western Illinois University will host its inaugural Dad's Weekend Friday, April 8 through Sunday, April 10.
Activities will be offered all weekend including racquetball, two-person golf scramble, bowling, open swim and sauna, massage sessions, the annual "Park 'N' Cruise" in downtown Macomb, "Cooking With Dad" classes and Western baseball vs. North Dakota State University. In addition to the on-campus events, Spring Lake, Argyle State Park and Everly Park will be open throughout the weekend for picnicking, boat rental, hiking and fishing.
A reception and buffet dinner will be held beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 8 in the University Union Lamoine Room, followed by a program at 7:30 p.m. There also will be a 9 a.m. farewell breakfast Sunday.
