Among the women I know: One is sleeping with an engaged man, one is in love with a man who has hit her on more than one occasion, one is cheating on her boyfriend, one lets her man get away with anything he wants and one is dating a man who still calls me looking for a hook up. Why, after all the women's rights movements and the fights for equality, are women still letting men treat them like the oil stain under their car?

It seems women are so desperate to find a guy that they will do anything to get one. I am not innocent of such behavior and I just can't stop myself. So what is it that attracts us to these dumb animals? In this day in age, it is no longer necessary for women to be with men for financial reasons, to have children, or even to orgasm. But they continue to stay in these relationships - if you can even call them that - day after day.

Sex with these men isn't even that great for most women, - it's a lucky day when they actually have an orgasm because of it. Unlike men, who come every time, women usually just want to be with they guy for cuddling afterwards. Sure, some women know their body well enough to always finish, but for most an orgasm from sex is about as likely as me voting for Bush. So, if women are not addicted to these horrible men for the sex, what is it?

Society continues to reward any type of relationship over the single life. Women who say no to men because they are waiting for something better are seen as losers. After all, something must be wrong with you if you can't get a date. Society has even created benchmarks for women to meet. Single on the playground? Lame. Single at the prom? Loser. Single on college graduation day? Pathetic. Single with a child? Immoral.

Deep in my heart I know good guys must be out there somewhere, but where? All of them seem to be either taken or gay. It seems some men are under the impression that women always turn down the nice guys. However, I am here to refute that point. Let me explain the problem women seem to have with so-called nice guys. Whenever we give them a chance they turn out to be just like every other guy. The only reason they are nice is because they think they can't get a girl, but as soon as confidence sparks - look out.

I know what you're thinking: "Well, such and such is with a nice guy." Sure, that's what you think. But I bet he's cheated on her. Those are the ones who always cheat, because nobody would suspect it and the mistress is so excited that she has a nice guy that she keeps her mouth shut.

Guys will continue to behave accordingly as long as women put up with it. And I have to admit; there is something extremely sexy about the bad ones. The ones women know they should stay away from are the ones they run toward. I can only hope that someday I meet Mr. Right and he will be single, interested, straight, and sexy. Until then, I'll just stick it out with Mr. Wrong.
