• Officers observed two students in front of Waggoner Hall attempting to pull a bus stop sign from the ground at 12:43 a.m. Sunday. Both students were judicially referred for attempted criminal damage to university property.
• Corrice Burns, 21, address unknown, was arrested at 400 W. Wheeler St. at 3 a.m. Sunday on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear. Burns was lodged in the McDonough County Jail and assigned an April 16 court date in DuPage County.
• A student reported that clothes, valued at $125, had been taken from a dryer in the Thompson Hall laundry room at 2:11 p.m. Sunday.
• Oliver Baumann, 19, of Wetzel Hall 1023, was arrested for possession of a false state ID card at 11:06 p.m. Sunday. He was lodged in the McDonough County Jail.
• A student in Thompson Hall was judicially referred for possession of drug paraphernalia at 1 a.m. Saturday.
• A university employee reported that sometime overnight, between 11:30 p.m. and 1:20 a.m Saturday, someone attempted to set pieces of toilet paper on fire in a ninth floor restroom in Tanner Hall. No damage was reported. The incident is under investigation.
• An individual reported that her cell phone was lost in the University Union and upon checking with the cellular phone company, discovered several unauthorized calls had been placed on the phone at 11:40 a.m. Saturday. Total loss was estimated at $150.
• The Macomb Fire Department was called to extinguish a tree that was on fire near the Vince Grady Field on University Drive at 4:31 p.m. Saturday. The fire, which was extinguished prior to the fire department’s arrival, was caused by charcoal from a grill that was dumped on the grass near the field. The tree was not damaged, however, a large patch of grass was scorched.
• Rachel Duewer, 19, of Thompson Hall 1428, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor following her arrest on Thursday for driving under the influence of alcohol at 8:58 p.m. Saturday.
