--Jan. 29, the Macomb Fire Department was called to Wetzel Hall food service area on a report of smoke.
It was discovered that the motor on a piece of equipment was smoking.
--Jan. 31, Christopher Bertello, 21, of Oak Forest, Ill., was arrested at Western Avenue and Riverview Drive for driving under the influence of alcohol.
He posted his driver's license and $100 cash bond for a Feb. 28 court date. Passenger Joseph Shaughnessy, 21, of Oak Forest, Ill., was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol.
