I think that our relationship with the university, at least in my office, is great, because we converse all the time about concerns on both sides.

No. I don't think there's a town and gown divide. I think there's a concern on the part of both the university and the city about conduct of students in the wee hours of the morning, and quite frankly we haven't been able to come to grips with a solution that is acceptable to everybody.…

There is always sort of a sense of divide, but I think that the relationship between the university and the city is actually a pretty good one. There are always conflicts and more so recently, but I actually think there is great respect among the majority of our students.…

The chief problem is that community members are displeased with the students' binge drinking and all the problems that come with that. The community doesn't like the college lifestyle of students.…
