Article IV puts hold on SGA budget
Newly rediscovered, Article IV of the SGA Bylaws imposes a previously non-existent cap on the organization's co-sponsorship abilities. Article IV will place a limit on SGA's budget for co-sponsorship at 25 percent of their total budget.
In order to spend above the 25 percent limit, a two-thirds vote of the total senate membership would be required.…

Students attempt to throw under par
What is disc golf, exactly? Disc golf is essentially throwing a Frisbee or weighted disc at a stationary target. Sounds easy, right? Well, it takes skill to throw a moving object at something stationary that can be blown off course by the wind.

Computing Awareness Day to help technologically challenged
Western Illinois University will celebrate Mobile Computing Awareness Day 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16 in the Leslie F. Malpass Library, Digital Commons (first floor).
According to Chad Dennis, instructional technology systems manager at Western's Center for Innovation in Teaching and Research (CITR), the event will include poster sessions and presentations that examine and demonstrate how mobile technological devices can aid learning opportunities.…
