Georgia professor suspect in theater shooting

Two people who knew college professor George Zinkhan early in his career described him as an ambitious and gifted academic with a promising future, but recent students at the University of Georgia said Zinkhan seemed disorganized and distant. Community wraps up Earth Day festivities

Members of the Western Illinois University and McDonough County communities gathered in the Spoon River College auditorium for the Macomb Earth Day Fair, marking the finale of Earth Day celebrations, on Saturday, April 25. Emergency medical professionals act out a harsh reality

Western Emergency Medical Services hosted the 18th annual Mock DUI on Friday, April 24. WEMS is an organization of volunteer first responders and EMTs who answer emergency calls on campus whenever students are present.
