SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The one-two punch of senior running back Herb Donaldson and junior Dre Gibbs rushed for more than 300 yards and help propel the Leathernecks to a 33-21 victory over Missouri State on Saturday.
Donaldson recorded a career-high in rushing attempts with 41 while piling up 273 yards and four touchdowns in the game.…

Leathernecks shut out by Purple Aces at home
The Leathernecks soccer team lost their home opener to Evansville 1-0 Friday.
Western (7-3-1) remained tied with Evansville (7-3-1) throughout the first half as both teams traded ball positions and saw close opportunities to score pass by.
Evansville was able to score in the second half during the 65th minute with a goal by sophomore fielder Tom Irving off two assists.…

'Winds suffer back-to-back shutouts
The Westerwinds were shut out twice over the weekend, losing to The Summit League opponent South Dakota State 3-0 on Friday and falling 1-0 in double-overtime against Drake on Sunday.

Golden Eagles top 'Winds in three
