Malpass Library revisits the 80's
Last Friday, the Inter-Library Loan services at the Malpass Library hosted an '80s day festival to inform and encourage students to use their new system, Iliad.

Slipknot- "All Hope is Gone"
During the recording of their new album "All Hope is Gone," Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor told interviewers that they were recording 30 tracks and that this would be some of the band's most experimental work yet. Taylor must have been referring to the 19 songs that didn't make the album, because the remaining 11 tracks that did make the cut pick up right where the band left off in 2004.…

Malpass Library books several upcoming events
Sci fi movie festival
On Sept. 3, the Malpass Library will be hosting "Game Nite" from 7:30-10 p.m. on the third floor. The event will have Wii and Xbox gaming, as well as board and role-playing games. Fans of the Edge can stop by from 8-9 p.m. and challenge Western Courier's Edge editor Brent Busby in a game of Wii Sports Tennis.…
